From March 28th to 31st, 2026, the 34th Annual Conference of the European Psychiatric Association (EPA) was grandly held in Prague, Czech Republic. As the largest and most influential psychiatric event in Europe, this conference, with the theme of "Mental Health: Improving Care and Expanding Horizons", attracted psychiatrists, researchers, and industry leaders from over 100 countries to participate. UteGene, along with its innovative product "Depression Circular RNA Assay Kit", made its debut at this conference and engaged in in-depth exchanges with professionals in the European psychiatric field.
Youte Gene presented the "Depression Circular RNA Detection Kit" on-site and introduced its detection principle, operation process and clinical performance. Many psychiatrists and researchers present at the event stopped to exchange ideas, showing great interest in the scientific innovation and clinical practical value of the product.
The "circRNA test kit" detects the circular RNA genes in peripheral blood or saliva samples, generating an intuitive and quantitative score to achieve clinical diagnosis of depression disorders and objective classification of symptom severity. By comparing the changes in test results before and after treatment, it objectively assesses the effects of intervention methods such as antidepressants and rTMS, helping doctors promptly adjust the treatment plan.
Through this EPA annual conference and in collaboration with Ute Gene, we have collected a large amount of real feedback from the clinical frontlines. The experts present at the conference generally agreed that objective biomarkers are an urgent need for psychiatric precision medicine.
